ActionPointe focuses on what I’ve learned how to do well over the years in helping people and organizations run effectively and be successful. I am passionate about each service area and consider myself truly blessed to be able to make my living being helpful to others in each of these areas. While ActionPointe is predominantly a solo consulting practice, I will pull in assistance from my team of experienced experts to achieve the client’s objectives, should the engagement call for this.

In the end, it’s not just about helping our clients develop worthy goals and sound strategies. It’s about rolling up our sleeves and working together with the client to create the focused action and engagement necessary for long-term, enhanced performance. We don’t just prescribe solutions; we roll up our sleeves and work with you to make those solutions work.

An inspiring purpose behind ActionPointe’s work is to improve the level of engagement by individuals within organizations. According to Gallup research, “engaged employees in the U.S. come up with most of the innovative ideas, create most of the company’s new customers, and have the most entrepreneurial energy.” Wouldn’t you like to have a company full of engaged employees? Engaged employees are passionate about the products and services the organization is bringing to the marketplace. That passion and commitment helps propel an organization’s success.

Unfortunately, Gallup research finds that roughly 70% of people working in the USA are disengaged from their work. Gallup found that disengaged employees are largely disconnected from the organization and their work; their job is a paycheck and nothing more. These employee attitudes result in significant losses in quality, productivity, customer satisfaction, and innovation. In short, disengagement negatively affects organizations and individuals both financially and in a host of indirect ways that all end up impacting the health and success of the business and the people involved. Nationally, Gallup has found that disengagement is estimated to cost the United States between $483 billion to $605 billion annually in lost productivity alone. Essentially, because of disengagement, a large majority of organizations in this country are operating far below their potential.

Think about what solving the engagement problem could mean for your organization. Make no mistake, these are solvable problems. If the prospect of improved engagement, stakeholder satisfaction, and organizational and employee performance inspires you, give us a call or send us an email. We’d love to talk with you.
